prints are signed individually by Jonathan.Limited & Signed Editions
Jonathan publishes limited edition (signed and numbered by Jonathan)
and signed edition (signed but not numbered) prints. Most of the
limited editions number 200 prints in total. Many of Jonathan’s
prints are produced in two sizes. The total number of prints of
both sizes matches the edition number.

 Giclée printing
All Jonathan’s prints are produced by ‘giclée’
printing. The use of giclée as a printing method for fine
art reproduction has grown over the past five years and giclée
is now setting the standard in low volume limited editions.
Giclée is particularly suited to fine
              art reproduction:
               traditional mould made papers
are used that give the look and feel of original watercolour paper
the colours have an intensity and vibrancy
that are very close to the original colours of the watercolour
paint. The result is a vibrant, long-lasting, individually
printed limited edition true to the original watercolour painting. Ink and paper specifications
The pigmented inks used to produce Jonathan’s prints meet
‘archival lightfast’ standards in terms of exposure
to UV and light in general. The paper is acid-free ‘German
Etching’ 310gsm (grams per square metre) that contributes
              to preserve the print product.

 Mounted prints
Jonathan’s prints are mounted using acid free white core board
of thickness 1250/1400mu. The mount colour we supply is slightly
off-white, chosen to fit any setting harmoniously. A backing board
of thickness 1250/1400mu is attached to the back of the mount.
